From a design point of view, the Duetto Spider 1300 featured elegant and sinuous lines, with a long bonnet, domed fenders and a tapering tail. It was characterized by its "clown nose" front grille and bulging headlamps. The soft top could be opened and closed manually, allowing you to enjoy an open-top driving experience.
Under the hood, the Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider 1300 was equipped with a 1.3-liter four-cylinder twin-cam engine that produced around 89 horsepower. The engine was placed in the front and the traction was rear. Despite its relatively modest power, the Duetto Spider 1300 offered an agile and fun drive typical of sports cars of the time.
